NZ Lowrider and Vicla Nationals 2025 – Recap

The lowrider scene in New Zealand is thriving and what better way to see it than at the NZ Lowrider & Vicla Nationals held during the 4 & Rotary Nationals at GLOBOX Arena & Events Centre, Claudelands, Hamilton.

The array of cars and bikes were outstanding with over 50 lowriders on display, many travelling from Auckland, Taranaki and afar to be a part of the show. The clubs that attended including Old Skool Rydz, Carnales, Loyalty IV Life, LOKEY, USO CC, MalaVida New Zealand and more, made an awesome effort showcasing their pride and joys and proudly displaying their clubs and passion for the scene.

NZ Viclas and MAVS Motorcycle Parts had their own Vicla Alley which showcased some incredible bikes, all with their own character for paint, patterns and chrome.

It was an awesome day at the show checking out Impalas, Bel Airs, Lincolns, Cadillacs, Monte Carlos, Harleys and more. Each car represented its own unique style with beautiful paint work, pinstriping, some with patterns, cool interiors, hydraulics, etc.

We also got to ride along with the Old Skool Rydz crew for the Saturday night cruise which was an incredible way to top off a wicked time back in New Zealand. Cruising all together is what its all about, but most importantly it’s the people all coming together to enjoy what they love.
